ExactTarget + CoTweet are seeking a Senior Ruby Engineer to play a pivotal role in the development of new features for our industry leading one-to-one marketing platform. The successful candidate is a versatile developer with expert-level proficiency in Ruby, RoR, Metal/Rack/Sinatra and keen attention to detail that permits them to own the final quality assurance of their solutions. The successful candidate must be highly adaptable, capable of learning new technologies and APIs and demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for designing and implementing products.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design/implement software solutions based upon needs and requirements.
  • Research issues identified by QA and develop succinct solutions.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in software engineering, computer science, or computer & information systems.

Job Description

The Business Development Manager creates, identifies and closes sales for CoTweet by employing solution-selling techniques to identify business needs for businesses or organizations located all over the world. They are responsible for presenting high quality product demonstrations of CoTweet's software, primarily via webex and over the phone.

As the individual who represents CoTweet and drives the revenue of our firm, the Business Development Manager must be self starting, have the ability to manage a large pipeline, and focus on closing business.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Convert companies using CoTweet Standard Edition to Enterprise Edition Customers.
  • Work with ExactTarget Business Development Managers and Relationship Managers to sell CoTweet to existing ExactTarget customers.
  • Generate business opportunities through professional, dedicated prospecting and cold-calling.
  • Drive brand awareness campaigns and lead generation via networking, and industry associations.
  • Capture feedback from the market and communicate to product and marketing teams.
  • Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Own the sales cycle - from lead generation to closure.
  • Develop strategic business plan.
  • Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within our internal SFA system.
  • Generate leads from tradeshows and networking events.
  • Strategically manage call cycles and email campaigns.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience selling SaaS-based products into the enterprise, ideally marketing department.
  • Active both personally and professionally in Social Media.
  • Understand the Social Media opportunities for businesses
  • Track record of sales excellence.

Job Description

The Director of Client Services will create the CoTweet professional services offering and will have responsibility for the successful and profitable delivery of service engagements. The Director of Client Services will build a team of service professionals based in San Francisco and will work closely with the ExactTarget Client Services organization to scale the service offering internationally. Additionally the Director will work closely with other departments and be skilled at balancing competing priorities. The successful candidate will enjoy being an integral part of a rapidly growing, technology-based company. He/she will demonstrate a passion for helping the company achieve and surpass it high expectations for success.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define the CoTweet social media services offering, working in collaboration with the ExactTarget Client Services organization
  • Recruit and manage team of service professionals.
  • Establish service delivery processes that result in successful engagements, meet target contribution margins, and scale internationally.
  • Play a supporting role in the product strategy and provide input to product roadmap.
  • Coordinate closely with marketing and sales, serving as liaison with industry analysts and participating at key industry events as a spokesperson.
  • Support strategic sales opportunities with key customers and prospects.

Required Skills/Experience

  • 2+ years experience managing a client services organization; 4+ years in delivery of Interactive Marketing-based client service engagements.

Job Description

CoTweetÕs Social Media Consultant will work collaboratively with other strategists and directly with clients to help them optimize their social media marketing strategies and tactics. This consultative position will involve a combination of strategy, analysis and day-to-day engagement in social media initiatives for CoTweet clients.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide consultation on social media marketing and conversation management, including best practices and optimization efforts for clients. Examples include:
    • Engagement Playbook: Facilitated onsite educational sessions to co-create clientsÕ Social Media Engagement Playbook. Addresses organizational planning, etiquette, brand voice, customer service, sales and marketing.
    • Monthly Review/Analysis: Monthly review of social media activity with recommendations for improvement based on best practices and trends.
  • Actively participate in the development of new consulting packages/service engagements, listening to client needs and working with leadership to develop productized offerings with measurable objectives and outcomes.
  • Management of project schedules and deliverables for client projects.
  • Capture product feedback from client engagements and share with product management.
  • Contribute to intellectual capital and best practices on social media monitoring and engagement.
  • Client presentations, on-site work-sessions, and correspondences.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills required.
  • Ability to quickly relate to a company's business and key executives at clients in order to provide credible and objective advice.
  • Significant experience in social media, personally and professionally.
  • 3-4 years experience in social media working with multiple clients / organizations including Fortune 1000 clients (experience in multiple verticals preferred).
  • Degree in marketing or communications is ideal.
  • Willing to travel up to 50%.
